I must confess: I have an almost unhealthy obsession with eyes.
Of all the human body’s features, the eye is without compare, uniquely ethereal in its beauty.
They’re the first thing I notice about a person.

When someone looks at me, I make it a point to diligently study their gaze –
to observe how their pupils palpitate and dance in the light,
to search for the hidden tones and undertones of their irises.

They’re just so fascinating…
so tempting…
like glimmering jewels set into sentient, breathing sockets.
